A multi-talented singer who freely uses her voice for film scores and insert songs, and is also active as a lyricist. Her singing has drawn attention in works such as the film Last Mile, the drama Saiai, and the anime Osomatsu-san.
Her voice is often described as combining clarity with a thrilling texture, and her improvisational melody-making and use of invented languages are among her signature styles. Composers and creators highly regard her ability to capture and express the unique world of each work.
She has also participated as a vocalist in stage productions, including YoRHa Girls, set in the world of NieR:Automata, and the stage adaptation of Demon Slayer.
In 2021, she was nominated for Best Composer at the Nice International Film Festival (France) for the theme song and score of the movie "Such Love. While handling everything from lyrics to design herself, she continues to explore the full range of vocal expression.

Carrying the passion shared by Director Ota and the creative team, I walked through the streets of Kyoto myself and wove the lyrics while gathering inspiration along the way.
“Eureka Evrika” is a coined word created specifically for this work, expanding on “Eureka,” the expression of joy at discovery and invention. The word was born during the lyric-writing process, and seeing it included as the subtitle was an incredibly moving moment—one unlike anything I have experienced before.
An adventure story woven by wonderfully captivating characters like Kihachi and Inako, together with the vivid and intricate music by Hitomi Koto. It is a story of “rebirth” that runs like an electric current—please witness this journey together!
