Chapter Four The Steadfast Girl
Having successfully brought the Electric Full Moon to life, Kihachi begins looking toward the future once again. One day, he learns of the wife of a Nishijin weaving shop owner, who remains trapped in grief, unable to let go of her late husband. Deeply moved by Inako—who also carries regrets over her own late mother—Kihachi resolves to save the grieving widow through one of his electrical inventions. But what extraordinary invention could possibly allow the living to communicate with the dead...?
